Wow...It has been along freaking time. So much has happened. First off Beau was unemployed for the better last half of 2009. Then magically I became pregnant, I say magically because we honestly were under the impression that one child was all I could have. (talk about stress and excitement) We had no insurance and no job and a baby on the way. Well Beau got a job up on Base under a student hire program and received health insurance on 04/10/10, and I had the baby on 04/12/10. Talk about the Lord works in Mysterious ways. This job still pays less then unemployment but once he is done with school he will be moving on up. I had my baby boy Dage on 04/12/2010. 7lbs 12oz 20 in long and a whole lotta cute. Kinda scary for a minute. I haven't had a baby in 5 years!!! The cord was wrapped around his neck so he wasn't breathing but, he pulled through! He is my big eater, at 2 1/2 months he weighs in at 16.1 lbs, as big as a normal 5 month old. Brecklynn just loves baby brother. She isn't to overbearing either, she doesn't ask to hold him every two minutes. The other day she did call me upstairs, she says, "mom hurry we have a situation!" So I come upstairs to find Breck has picked brother up and put him on the changing table, OMG, and was changing his diaper (my big helper) she never anticipated the fountain that was going to follow! So funny. I simply told her that he is a little to big for her to try and pick up. It has been a little journey for me. I have had to depend on myself alot more the last couple months. With Beau being gone 4:30 am to 3:30 then 5:30 pm to 9, I have to take care of alot more. I am enjoying my newfound independence and I am very proud of the meals I have learned to concoct. I am even dabbling in Peruvian dishes. Yum Yum. I am gonna try and keep up on this stuff! Even if nobody cares, it helps me to spill my guts and just get it all out!
