Family Pictures in Liberty

We went up to Liberty on Father's day and it is so beautiful up there...we decided to have some pics snapped.

Beau and Brecklynn came to visit me for lunch today. As soon as they got here Brecklynn headed to the back desk with my stapler, my glasses and a few sheets of paper from the printer. She cracks me up.

Temple Square

So on Saturday it was my families anniversary of bein sealed in the Temple. We went down to Temple square and saw the Joseph Smith movie, (I was bawling). Then we went to Brigham Youngs house, the Beehive house. It was so neat to see all of the original things that he actually wore. It was a very spiritual experience and something I think Beau and I both needed. It was so fun! But very tiring.

Mud Room

It has taken forever for our lazy butts to just get it done but finally!!! Our mudroom is finished. It isn't a very good picture but I am really proud of it and I painted it all by myself lol...Make sure you scroll down for my other posts from today...sorry I am a slacker.

This is the place!!!

We had so much fun at the monument. If you haven't ever been there you should consider it. You get to walk in all the old homes and old stores, it is so neat...I can't imagine pulling a family across the plains in a handcart and then living in a 200 sq ft cabin!!! Ok so the other really cool thing was that there were pony rides and a petting zoo!!! I was probably more in heaven then the kids even. LoL

Happy Birthday Brecklynn

She is so adorable, and I can't believe how fast she is growing...She is already 4!!! It was cute how excited she was that saturday was her day. Beau told her she can basically have whatever she wants. Since she was turning 4 we has to give her high 4's all day and no high 5's. Funny kid. Here are some pics of her fun Birthday party

Last day of Preschool Program!!!

The kids sang and danced and graduated from 3 year old preschool!!! So cute, I was noticing too how Breck is getting so tall, she is way taller than her cousin Braylee who is 1 month older!!!

Happy Birthday weekend!!!

May 15th was my birthday and Beau made it so special. He cleaned the whole house for me before I got home from work, and he and Brecklynn brought me flowers @ work. I felt so special. When I got home I had a Birthday cake waiting for me...It said, "Happy Birthday Auntie" and I could see where little Kayzlee had a few tastes! Then later that evening he and a bunch of our friends went to one of my favorite restaraunts, Tepenyakis.

DoUbLe TrOuBle

So I am at work and my sister is at home with the kids...She calls me and asks me, "so, how much medicine was in that bottle of Children's Tylenol?" OmG!!! Why what happened oh my hell. So apparently the two older girls, my daughter Brecklynn and my niece Braylee were upstairs in the playroom for some time playing with their barbies like usual. She went upstairs and started picking up the toys. That's when she found two plastic syringes and a 3/4 empty bottle of Children's Tylenol!!! Somehow they were able to get it out of a childproofed cupboard above the kitchen sink and open up the childproof bottle!!! Well, to move on, my sister started interrogating, "Who drank it?" Of course Brecklynn says it was Braylee and vice versa. Little terds. The bottle was brand new, I had just opened it a couple days ago! So I called Poison Control and they said ER right away! For those who may not know this: Acitaminophen is the active ingredient in all Tylenol. If taken in to large of dose it causes liver failure. It needs to be caught within 24 hours. By the time your liver starts failing, it is usually to late. So needless to say I was Fareaking Out!!! My sister met me at the ER at Davis Hospital. Brecklynn kept telling me, "Mommy, I am telling the Truth, Braylee woke me up from my sleep and I saw her take the medicine, I didn't even taste it at all, I promise." "Please tell the doctor I don't need blood shots." HaHa...I really kinda believed her but I couldn't take chances. Here are some pictures at the hospital...She was not happy with me. The doctors drew blood from both of their arms. Guess who drank the most? You'll never guess, BreCklYnn!!! The one who promised she didn't drink a drop. They both had a large amount in their tummies but they were ok. I was so relieved that after the 3 hours in the ER they didn't have to be admitted. We got very lucky. I think the girls learned an important lesson, If you don't want needles in your arms then don't take stuff without mommy knowing. And no need to lie to mommy. After the results came back Breck and I had a little talk and she promised not to lie to me again. Us adults also learned a lesson, you can never underestimate the capabilites that your children possess. Not that I ever did before, but I never thought they would get into a childproof cupboard and open a childproof bottle and drink stuff they KNOW they are not supposed to.
